AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is a short story for Roswell Heaven's anniversary writing challenge.

The only requirement was that it had to feature an anniversary. This is what popped into my mind.

SUMMARY: This takes place at the end of the episode 'End of the World', after Future Max disappeared.

Wow, that was so well-written, touching, moving and just wow. I was pretty close to crying along with Liz when she was agonizing over all those anniversary dates. I got absorbed in your story. I only wish it was longer. But it does feel complete. Thank you for sharing.

OMFG why couldn't they have done that on the show!!!!!!!! Kyle and Tess were much better suited to one another but then we would have had our Max and Liz moments!!!!!
