I had writing. DISCLAIMER: Some of the dialogue used was taken from the episodes and I am

2002) Cuerena landed the Sephtafus
II behind the jutting rock formation that housed the pod chamber, and the gang
moved down the hallway and to the door. With a swipe of his hand
Michael opened the outer door and he, Cuerena and Isabel hurried outside to
conceal the ship in a covering of rock.
Kyle handed baby Nathaniel to Ava and went to join them. As the others disembarked, Max and Liz
moved away from the ship and he took out his cell phone and called his parents. ÒDad,Ó he said when his
father answered, ÒweÕre back.Ó ÒIs everyone okay?Ó Philip
asked. ÒAnd what about Isabel?Ó ÒEveryone is fine,Ó Max
assured him. ÒWe brought Isabel
back too, and we could use a ride into town.Ó Max heard his father call
out, ÒDiane, theyÕre back and they have Isabel.Ó Philip spoke into the phone, ÒMax, weÕll be there in a few
minutes.Ó ÒIs it okay if I invite
everyone back to our house?Ó Max asked.
ÒIÕm sure they all want to hear what happened.Ó ÒSure,Ó Philip said. ÒBring two cars, okay Dad?Ó
Max asked. ÒWeÕve got a lot of
people who are anxious to go home.Ó Max could hear the smile in
his fatherÕs voice, ÒYouÕve got it, son.Ó Max pressed the end button
and then quickly dialed Jim.
ÒSheriff itÕs Max. WeÕre
back and everyoneÕs okay.Ò JimÕs voice was choked with
emotion, ÒThatÕs great.Ó Max continued, ÒMy parents
are coming out to give us a ride, but we could use another car to bring
everyone into town.Ó ÒOf course,Ó Jim said. ÒThe regular place?Ó ÒYeah,Ó Max said. ÒWeÕre going to meet back at our house
to fill everyone in, so bring Mrs. Valenti too.Ó ÒWeÕll be there,Ó Jim said. Max ended the call, and with
a smile, handed the phone to Liz. Liz dialed her parents. ÒMom, weÕre back and weÕre all okay.Ó Her mother started to cry. ÒMom,Ó Liz said softly. Her mother had been against her going
to Antar and she had never really accepted her relationship with Max or their
alien status, but Liz felt hopeful for the future. ÒWeÕre going to meet at the EvansÕ house in about forty
minutes,Ó Liz continued, Òso we can tell everyone what happened. You and Dad will come, wonÕt you?Ó ÒOf course,Ó Nancy said,
Òand weÕll bring food for everyone.
ItÕs almost dinnertime. You
all must be starving.Ó Liz smiled, relieved. Maybe her Mom was starting to
understand. At least it was a
first step in the right direction. ÒThanks Mom,Ó Liz said, Òthat would be
great.Ó As she ended the call, Liz
turned to see Cuerena close the shipÕs door, and with a wave of her hand,
concealed it behind a wall of rock.
The only sign that it wasnÕt the stone wall it appeared to be, was the
glowing, silver handprint on the rocky surface, which slowly faded before her
eyes. The others returned and Max
called out, ÒWeÕll have rides back into town in a few minutes and everyone is
going to meet at our house.Ó ÒAnd my parents are bringing
dinner,Ó Liz added. Kyle and Michael gave a
cheer and the gang started to walk around the rock formation housing the pod
chamber to wait for their rides, leaving Max and Liz alone. Max smiled. ÒSo how do you think our parents will
take the news about the wedding my mother is planning for us on Antar?Ó ÒI think it will be okay,Ó
Liz said. ÒOur parents didnÕt get
to attend our other ceremony in Arizona and a lavish wedding and a trip to
another planet surely will make up for it.Ó Liz slipped her arm through
MaxÕs, entwining their fingers, and leaned into him. ÒItÕs nice to be home.Ó Max placed a kiss on the top
of her head and moved into her, nestling her head under his chin. ÒI feel that way too,Ó he said
softly. ÒEven after recovering our
memories, I will always think of Roswell as home. ÒWell,Ó Liz said, Òwith
everything thatÕs happening on Antar, the restructure of government and the
social changes, we will have to spend a lot of time there in the future.Ó ÒOr we could commute,Ó Max
suggested. ÒBut whatever we
decide, IÕm just glad weÕll be doing it together.Ó ÒAlways,Ó Liz said with a
smile. She wrapped her arms around
his neck, looking up into his face.
ÒItÕs kind of weird. Our
parents and the Sheriff know the truth, the government isnÕt after us, there
are no evil aliens trying to kill us.
So what do we do now, Max?Ó Max placed a
kiss on her forehead, and enfolded her into his arms with a smile. ÒAnything we want, my love. Anything we want.Ó ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Another turning point

EPILOGUE
Sephtafus - Antarian mythical goddess of good fortune
a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist
directs you where to go,
So make the best of this test and don't ask why,
It's not a question but a lesson learned in time,
It's something unpredictable
but in the end it's right
i hope you had the time of your life.
So take the photographs and still frames in your mind
Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time,
Tattoos and memories of skin on trial
For what it's worth, it was worth all the while.
It's something unpredictable,
but in the end it's right
I hope you had the time of your life
It's something unpredictable,
but in the end it's right
I hope you had the time of your life
The End
