Roswell Bloopers

Some of these are more like Chads than bloopers, and some I don't really agree
with, but I left them in anyway. Bloopers are from various closed sites.

Pilot

Bloopers from Roswellian Realm

The Wrong Hand:
When Max saves Liz he uses his left hand. Later when Kyle is saying good night to her he sees the handprint, but the handprint is a one of someone's right hand.

Bloopers from Roswellplace

In the pilot, Maria is holding a presumably hot pot of coffee with her hand on the bottom...that's got to hurt!

This is kind of a pilot one...it's all about the dates of Liz's death.
VOICE-OVER: "September 23rd. Journal entry one. I'm Liz Parker and five days ago I died. After that, things got really weird...."
So this makes the date the 18th of September.
VOICE-OVER: "It's September 24th, I'm Liz Parker and five days ago I died. But then the really amazing thing happened. I came to life."
So this makes Liz's death the 19th of September?!
LARRY: "Yeah, right. Ok. Um...it happened right here...right in Roswell, New Mexico. September 17th. I was in the Crashdown Cafe. Now, that's right across the street. So I'm sitting there. 2 guys come in."
Liz died on the 17th of September?

In the pilot Max's handprint on Liz's stomach is the wrong hand. He heals her with the left, and its a right-hand print.

When Isabel, Max, and Michael are eating outside(not the Crashdown) Michael is pouring Tabasco in his drink in one cut and the very next cut he isn't...the two cuts are obviously spliced wrong.

In the "It was You" scene, Liz's necklace is always different. It's either under her shirt, on top of her shirt, or not there at all.

Liz goes into the bandroom with Max, and bumps into Kyle, and tells him their trying to find a place to study for their Bio Mid-Term, but why would they study for ANY mid-Term in September? It's the begining of the year, there wouldn't be mid terms until later.

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

The Crash fesitval would be taking place on the day of the crash, right? Well, uh, the ship crashed on July 4. What's wrong with this picture?

A little picky, but there was far too much paint on the Sheriff's hand to have it come from where he touched Maria's neck.

Out of curiousity, didn't anyone find it odd that Maria was supposedly hit by HER OWN car?

In the "It was You" scene, Liz's necklace is always different. It's either under her shirt, on top of her shirt, or not there at all.

Michael covered his hand in silver paint to put the handprint on Maria (during the Crash Festival scene), but in every scene afterwards, his hands are clean (picky, I know.)

When Liz is shot, you can see her roll to the side when the camera passes by where she is. However, when Max looks at her, she's lying on her back!

There is a spot of blood on Liz's bra when Max is healing her (right above his hand); when she looks in the mirror later it is gone.

At the outdoor taco stand, Max waits for Michael to hand him the tabasco, which he does; the next shot shows Michael putting the tabasco in his drink; then the bottle is gone period.

Also, in the same scene, while Isabel is giving her "This changes everything" speech her hair goes from not being tucked behind her ear, to being tucked behind her ear, to not again.

The Morning After

Bloopers from Roswellplace

When Liz was talking to Maria Liz said "Why don't you go sniff some Ceader Oil". She should have said Cypress Oil.

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

When Liz and Maria are talking about czechoslovakians at the Crashdown, Liz has a piece of paper behind the notepad she takes orders on in her hands, but when when Alex pops up behind them asking, "Whose a czechoslovakian?" Liz turns around and the piece of paper is no longer behind her notepad. It could be magic, or it could be another mistake in shooting Roswell.

When Kyle comes over to Max and Liz in the jeep when they`re waiting at Michael`s place, the second and third time Kyle repeats the question, "Why are you whispering?" seem to match exactly, as if they used the same shot of him saying the line twice. It makes the dialougue in the scene seem extremely repetitive.

Ms.Topolsky called on Liz because she thought she was day dreaming and Liz "corrected" her on the problem and said "the sum of the angles in a triangle is 180 degrees" but on the board it said "m <'s=180 degrees", but it's not suppose to have an angle sign its suppose to have "m (triangle sign)=180 degrees" so that means neither Ms.Topolsky or Liz was right.

The front wall of the Crashdown is plain and framed with metal in the Pilot, then in Morning after it's framed with wood. Check it out!

In "The Morning After" when Max, Isabel and Michael are talking about Michael going to the sheriff's station selling candy, after Max moves to the chair in front of Michael, you can see something move in the window behind him. I went back and did slow-mo, and it turns out to be someone's face in the window.

Leaving Normal

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

When Liz is waiting for Max, Maria mentions that it's 'not because Max has P.E. third period', so she'd be waiting for him. However, Max must have a really bad lying system because he says 'I have an English mid-term'. And what's with the mid-terms? That all happens in December!

Max's jeep miraculously sprouted a roll bar and seat belts sometime between "Leaving Normal" and "285 South."

Missing

Bloopers from Roswellian Realm

The Green Book:
When Liz’s Journal is missing, they go in the archives of the UFO Centre and she tells Max that its missing. On the shelf next to Liz, there are several green ring binders and a smaller see-through one. The camera frames on Liz and the small folder is there. Then when the camera frames Max, then Liz again the folder is gone. It re-appears the disappears again.

285 South

Bloopers from Roswellplace

when Liz is talking to her mom saying she's staying at Maria's in the first shot her phone is on the left side (I think) but in the next shot it's on the opposite side.

When we watch the jeep with Max, Liz and Isabel come toward us and Liz is talking on the phone with her mother, her phone is in her right hand. However, when the camera zooms in, the phone is suddenly in her left hand.

When Michael and Maria are stopped by the cop and Maria explains to him she's 'got to pee', her seatbealt is buckled. When she's finished and she turns to look out the window, the camera goes over next to her window and her seatbealt is unbuckled. Then, when the camera goes back to Michael's window, the seatbealt is rebuckled.

When Michael announces to Isabel and Max how he's going to Marathon, then jumps over the stadium bar, his underwear is visible.

Then, when the camera goes back to Michael's window, the seatbealt is rebuckled.

Also, watch Maria's hand when it zooms in on her after she announces she's been abducted. It's outside the window. The camera zooms in closer, and it's suddenly inside (a little picky)

Also picky: Michael's arm is outside the window when the cameras is looking in from Maria's side (when they've been stopped by the cop), and it's inside when its looking in from Michael's side.

When Michael announces to Isabel and Max how he's going to Marathon, then jumps over the stadium bar, his underwear is visible for about 1 second. It also makes a "brief" appearance when he goes to unlock the hood to Maria's car.

In the hotel room Liz says "Well, what are we waiting for?" It's a little obvious Liz...the roadblock to be lifted!!!

In the Pilot there is a store right next to the Crashdown. In 285 South there is an Ally right next to the Crashdown.

River Dog

Bloopers from Roswellplace

How did Maria's car get fixed? It was damaged to the point where Michael and Maria went in the jeep, but they drove home in the Jetta.

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

How did Maria's car get fixed? It was damaged to the point where Michael and Maria went in the jeep, but they drove home in the Jetta. How?

The gang leave the dome after 8pm, because it's light outside, however Max and Isabel's mother was worried that they didn't come home last night. They had to have missed school, so why didn't she notice that they weren't home? (a little picky, I know)

Blood Brothers

Bloopers from Roswellplace

When Alex is talking to Liz in the halls, he has books in one of his hands. Suddenly his nose starts to bleed and he dabs at it with both hands, as though he's not holding anything. He beelines for the bathroom, and he's holding books again. However, when he re-amerges from the bathroom after cleaning up, he doesn't have them anymore.

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

Max tells Liz after their "date" that he's got to get to trig. However, we saw in "The Morning After" that he's got geometry with Liz. This story took place before the semester change (remember Alex's conversations with Topolsky?), so how could this be?

In Leaving Normaal Maria makes a comment to Liz about waiting by the sports schedule, hoping to bump into Max, because he has 4th period P.E., but in the beginning of the Blood Brothers episode, the two of them skip 4th period, a class they both have, because there teacher, Ms. Hardy, is out with the flu.

Heat Wave

Bloopers from Roswellplace

In the opening scene, Michael pushes open the door from the outside, even though the sign says "push" from the inside!

First, when Liz is walking down the school halls at the beginning she is wearing her hair down and when she bumps into Kyle and Vicky she is wearing her hair in a ponytail.

When Liz is trying to get the slugs to mate, she has surgical gloves on, then when she caresses Max's hand, she doesn't.

In the jail scene when Liz is about to tell Alex who the pod squad really is, her hands are on the bars when the camera is facing Alex, then down at her side when the camera is facing her a split second later. It goes back and forth, her arms are up, her arms are down, her arms are up...

The Balence

Bloopers from Roswellplace

When you look at the three aliens walking away from the top (in Michael's dream at the very end) you can see by the shadows that it goes Isabel-Michael-Max. However, when the camera watches them go from the side it's suddenly Max-Michael-Isabel.

The Toy House

Bloopers from Roswellplace

At the end, Isabel asks Max if he told their mother about their being aliens, and he tells her no. She starts to cry and he hugs her. From each shot, their arms switch places.

UFO Convention

Bloopers from Roswellplace

When Liz sees Jen and Larry entering the Crashdown again she gets flashbacks from the day she got shot but those scenes were different than the ones that were aired in the Pilot.

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

During the scene with Max and Hubble in the desert, Michael suddenly appears there but how did he get there so quickly? He doesn't have a car and it seems way too far for him to have walked.

In the scene when Jen and Liz are talking at the Crashdown, Liz fills a jar with Sweet and Low. Then Jen has it and its full but when the scene goes back to Liz, the jar is full again.

Blind Date

Bloopers from Roswellian Realm

Sparks Fly:
When Max gets drunk and whisks Liz away to confess his feelings, he turns the streetlight into a disco ball and sets off fireworks from parking meters by touching them. You can clearly see the sparks begin to fly before he touches the parking meters.

Bloopers from Roswellplace

Right at the beginning when Maria, Liz and Alex are listening to the radio, Liz has gloves on, then she doesn't, then Maria pushes her towards the radio guy and she does again, or something like that.

When Maria was singing, she took the microphone off the stand and stepped to the side. Then they showed Liz. When they went back to Maria, the mic was on the stand again.

When Max and Liz are on her roof, he lights up the heart he drew with his left hand. At the end of the episode, when they show flashbacks, he uses his right hand to light up the heart!

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

When Liz is getting ready for her date, the picture of her, Alex and Maria was on her radio. When Max changes the faces its suddenly on her side table. Also, Michael and Isabel lit a fire in a public area while the library (or whatever store is behind them) is still open (note the lights in the background), yet no one seems to notice the fire.

When Liz gets interveiwed by the KROZ guy about her dream guy, Maria is sitting next to her, but other times she isn't.

When Kyle is calling Max from outside while Max is in his house one of Kyle's friend's says "Come on down Behr!"

Independence Day

Bloopers from Roswellplace

How come Michael couldn't heal his eye, even after he did heal River Dog's ankle?

Mrs. DeLuca was carrying a bunch of pies and later Maria also picked the boxes up like they were empty.

When Michael is using his powers in front of Hank, it looked liked like there was someone behind him, like a shadow or something.

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

Emancipation requires a school grade check. If the judge saw how many days Michael missed or how close he was coming to be expelled ("The Morning After"), he would never have been approved. Also, the emancipation process takes about a year to be completed.

Sexual Healing

Bloopers from Roswellplace

When Max and Liz are sitting in the parking lot, Liz's hair is sometimes totally on her shoulder, sometimes only a little on it.

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

Max and Liz's bio teacher in both "the Pilot" and "Heat Wave" was a woman, however it's suddenly now this new teacher. If they changed semesters and got new teachers, it's kind of strange how Max and Liz and Alex and Maria are still lab partners!

When Maria is driving Liz back home after she finds her in Michael's apartment, if you watch what they're driving by through Liz's window, one round of footage is repeated (they drive by what looks like a car dealership sign and an intersection twice... and hey, they're magically exactly alike!)

Crazy

Bloopers from Roswellplace

In the makeout scene with Michael and Maria she has her shirt completely unbuttoned but when Michael yells at Max her shirt is buttoned. It also appears to be dark in his apartment and when he gets up the lights are on bright.

After Isabel gives Tess her soda, Tess reminds her to "bring the extra sugar", and Isabel nods. However, she only snaps at Max and Michael, she totally forgets the sugar.

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

When Michael and Topolsky are talking, he calls her "crazy" and turns, apparently to leave. Why would he leave, it's his apartment! (picky, yes, I know)

When Valenti's looking through his little Rolo-Deck phone number thingy, the zipcode on Stevens' home address is 6 numbers long.

Tess, Lies and Video Tapes

Bloopers from Roswellplace

We find out about the camera in Michael's apartment right? We also see(presumably) pierce watching the clips from SH with Isabel and Michael talking about "connecting with humans"... So, if the camera was placed there BEFORE they found the orb and the pod squad openly talked about being aliens in SH/Crazy- even witnessing a little of Max's healing capabilities when he heals Liz's rash from the hickey- why do they need Topolsky to lead the special unit to them? why didn't they grab the orb from Max's house?

They kept mentioning that the lens had a concave frame, but when Tess did her magic on the vase, it looked like a normal camera lens.

When Liz breaks the sculpture the camera goes dead but some how when she repositions it it is on again.

Four Square

Bloopers from Roswellplace

Young Isabel's hair was a lot longer and darker in this episode than it was in "the Pilot" or "the Balance".

In "the Pilot", we saw Max and Isabel by the side of the road, and they weren't covered in the goo we saw them in in this episode.

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

The way Max, Michael and Isabel met in this doesn't match with what Max said in "the Balance".

Max To The Max

Bloopers from Roswellplace

When Tess, Isabel and Michael check out that dead agent, to see if he is Max Right before Nacedo walks in the 'dead' guy swallows!

When Nacedo changes Michael's clothes into a suit and from behind you still see him wearing his blue jean jacket when he should be wearing the suit.

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

When Liz and Nasedo were going into the bus Nasedo was leading, but when the camera shows from the inside, Liz is leading.

White Room

Bloopers from Roswellplace

When Tess, Isabel and Michael check out that dead agent, to see if he is Max Right before Nacedo walks in the 'dead' guy swallows!

When Nacedo changes Michael's clothes into a suit and from behind you still see him wearing his blue jean jacket when he should be wearing the suit.

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

Max is supposed to not have any powers (or so Pierce told him), so how was he able to heal himself from the cold and electrocution (we did see his skin had alot of frostbite on it).

At the end of "The White Room", Agent Pierce is shot in the left shoulder ("missing the heart by 6 inches). Yet at the beginning of "Destiny", he wears a sling on his left ARM --no bandage on his shoulder, mind you. The sling miraculously disappears when Max ties both of Pierce's arms behind his back.

In "Max to the Max" the pod squad didn't know the new deputy is "Fisher", yet sometimes here they know who he is (sometimes they refer to him as "Valenti's new deputy", sometimes he's "Deputy Fisher").

In the Pilot, when Max gets pulled over by the Sheriff, he hands over his license which has his address as Newton Ave or something like that but then in this episode Max tells Pierce he lives at Murray Lane.

Destiny

Bloopers from Roswellplace

In Monster's Valenti is suspicious of Max and Isabel. But when he discovers Michael is alien too he says he thought Max was the only one.

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

Right after commercial they showed Max and Liz getting away form the special unit guys, like running through the pipe. Her hair is pretty dry. But when we look again later it's soaking wet.

Unlike in the pilot, Max didn't need to make skin-to-skin contact with Kyle (maybe cause it woulda been gross), and he cleaned up the blood, which Max couldn't do before, getting them in trouble with the FBI in the first place.

In the last scene, when Liz runs off, her underwear is visible for several seconds, causing many Shiri fans to probably wear out their VCR pause control.

When Michael uses his powers to stop the FBI guys (when Max and Liz are running) Watch closely... the flash of bright light appears before it comes out of Michael's hand.

Also, Michael and the Sheriff see Max and Liz then they show them running from behind a bend, now how do they see them from that view?

Skin And Bones

Bloopers from Roswellplace

When Max and Isabel are walking down the street, right before Max sees Liz, this couple is walking behind them (a girl and a guy wearing shorts and carrying a briefcase)and when they show a shot of Liz & the same couple is almost at the end of the street, shot of Max & Isabel, same couple still behind them.

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

Maria's hair is suddenly longer than last season which they didn't bother to explain at all.

Also, Liz was a little paler than she was last year, which wouldn't make sense cause she's supposed to have been in Florida.

At the end when Max is talking to Liz she puts her hair behind her ear next scene there's no hair is behind her ear!

If you look at the bathroom in Crazy you'll see that it's a small hallway without a door that leads to men and women sections. Look at the bathroom this season. Big difference, heh? Also check this out in Ask Not and in Wipe Out.

Ask Not

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

During the scene where Courtney was massivley flirting with Michael, Michael's toothpick is in the left side of his mouth, then magically in the right. They said that they recived the message from there parents on May 14th when the episode aried on the 15th.

Surprise

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

18 year olds are not juniors. 16 and possibley 17 year olds are, but unless Isabel failed two grades (which, due to the fact we've already seen how smart the pod squad is, is highly unlikely), this is wrong.

Summer Of '47

Bloopers from Roswellplace

Near the end of the episode in the scene with Hal and the Bartender, he gives him the note from Betty, watch Hal's hat. He puts it down onto the bar to reach out for the note but the next instant it is back under his arm again.

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

First, and most importantly, Hal, Richie, and the Admiral's hair was FAR longer than army regulations. Alex was pretty much the only one who would've sufficed.

Also, in the Hal/Rosmary kissing scene, when they start to kiss, Rosmary's hand is around Hal's arm, when they cut to where he sees something, it's suddenly around his neck.

At the beginning, you can see that Isabel is not a blonde! When Michael and Hal are hugging, the position of their arms changes from every angle.

The End Of The World

Bloopers from Roswellian Realm

Courtney’s Helmet:
Michael gives Courtney a ride home on his motorcycle. Courtney gets off the motorcycle and takes off the helmet she has on, then she takes off her helmet and gets off the motorcycle.

Bloopers from Roswellplace

When Tess and Max are talking, when the camera is far away Tess's hair is behind her ear but when there's a closeup it's in her face. It changes throughout that entire scene anmd she never even touches her hair.

When Michael is dropping off Courtney. When they drive to her apartment the camera is far away and you can see Courtney take off her helment and get off the bike but when the camera gets close she is still on the bike with the helment on.

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

In the FANTASTIC scene where Alex hits Michael, after Alex walks in Michael closes the door. After Michael says "it was one big misunderstanding", the door is wide open.

Harvest

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

When Max, Liz, and Tess are at the Universal Friendship League, and the husks are just destroyed, Max and Tess are on the ground, because they used their power, when they get up and the doors open, Max is in front of Liz, but when the next scene of them running out is shown, Liz is very much in front of Max.

Wipe Out

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

When Nicholas is questioning Courtney, and her skin is all disgusting, when she goes to kill herself by hitting that thing on her back, her shirt doesn't cover her whole stomach and the skin is normal. Kyle tells Maria that they were in the same remedial science class for three years, but somehow Maria is in Liz and Max's bio class in Sexual Healing, the Pilot and many others and is partners with Alex.

Meet The Dupes

Bloopers from Roswellian Realm

The Magic Seat Belt:
As Max drives up to Isabel while she's jogging to confront her about being Vilandra, his seat belt is on, then off, then on, then off again.

Bloopers from Roswellplace

Rath is walking through the halls of West Roswell High and spots Liz, look at Liz's locker, when she approaches it, the locker is closed. In the next shot her locker is open and she's facing a different direction.

Liz and Max are talking at the Crashdown just before closing time. Max puts on this backpack twice.

Max jumps up when Lonnie just casually walks into his Room, when he does, he knocks over a can of soda onto his keyboard.

Bloopers from Inside Roswell (sent in by DragonPrincess)

Although it couldn't have been known at the time when they were filming, Brody asks Maria what she thinks of the new president, well, um...hate to tell you but we don't have a new president yet!

In the Rath/Liz kiss scene, Rath didn't have his nose or lip ring, but he did when we saw him at the UFO museum.

Max In The City

Bloopers from Roswellplace

Max, Tess, Lonnie and Rath are in the sewers and Rath and Lonnie are sitting on couch. Watch closely. In one clip Rath has his leg on top of Lonnie's then in others it's not and then again his leg is on her's.

A Roswell Christmas Carol

Bloopers from Roswellplace

At the end when Michael and Max are talking in the Evans home and Michael says "You gotta hedge your bets Maxwell" there is clearly someone walking behind Michael, probably someone working on the set.

Viva Las Vegas

Bloopers from Roswellian Realm

Show Me The Money:
In Viva Las Vegas when Michael gathers the group around the hotel room to tell them about the 'rules', he throws a bundle of money to each person. Not including him, there is seven others. Well, if you watch closely, he only throws out six bundles of money. Not seven. But, in the next scene, all of them have money.

Baby, It's You

Bloopers from Roswellplace

Liz, Maria, and Michael were calling Alex "Alex" right in front of the computer guy, and even though he knew Alex as Ray, he did question it. When Max and Tess went to the Pod Chamber, Tess asked Max what he was looking at...it was the Destiny book! The SAME Destiny book that TESS pulled out of the wall in the library in season one.

Off The Menu

Bloopers from Roswellian Realm

Bullet Hole:
Brody fires the gun in the UFO centre, part of the wall around the bullet hole crumbles. Later when Hansen arrives, the part of the wall that crumbles is back in the wall.
