The Rumors Are True Inkworks Reveals Roswell: Season One Trading Cards RALEIGH, NC, -- November 15, 2000 -- Inkworks captures the intrigue of the popular science fiction TV series, ROSWELL, in a brand-new 90-card premium trading card series featuring the premier season of the show. We showed ROSWELL promotional cards to fans and collectors at several shows this summer and the response was incredible, said Allan Caplan, president of Inkworks. Fans of ROSWELL are some of the most passionate of any show on television and they are really looking forward to seeing this new collectible trading card product. ROSWELL is a new science fiction show, now in its second season, featuring a group of teens who deal with uncertainty about their alien identities and the discovery of new powers, as well as the normal challenges facing teens. The show, which was developed by executive producer Jason Katims, averages five million viewers weekly. It has received extensive media coverage and was rated Best Show by an E! Online viewer poll. The 90-card base set includes episodic coverage, character cards and intriguing clues to the alien teens secret identities.
