SUBJ: Max Evans in hospital

Agent Stephens:

I've just been informed by the principal that Max Evans and Liz Parker
have both been taken to the hospital. So far, no word, but I'm sending
Moss to the hospital for some sort of evidence recovery. We've never
been so close to finding the truth.

Will report in once we receive any information.

SUBJ: Blood Test

Agent Stephens:

Agent Moss recovered the blood that was reportedly drawn from Max Evans.
The test came back normal. According to the hospital, Max Evans is a
perfectly healthy teenage boy. Moss expressed to me, though, that the
kids may have switched the sample with one of the friends. I suspect
Alex Whitman. In order to get Whitman to agree, he must either be in on
the secret or now has been exposed to it.

I've observed Whitman for a while. I believe he will be easy to crack.
It will simply be a matter of carrot on a stick psychology.

In other news, I received a call on my cell phone from Agent Moss' motel
room. The caller ID was correct, so I knew the call was safe. But when
I answered, there was no one on the other line. I double-checked with
Moss, and he confirmed that he was not in his room at the time of the
call. I can only presume that it came from someone who's too close to
us now.

Worried that my cover is being jeopardized. Intend to shake down
Whitman as soon as possible.
