This is the alien-themed restaurant owned by Liz Parker's parents, and where Liz and Maria, and eventually Michael work. The menu items are named after space and alien-related things.

The cafe has been in the ownership of the Parkers for three generations. It was originally called Parker's Bar, but after the '47 crash it was renamed the Crashdown Cafe. (Sndtrk). Currently Jeff & Nancy Parker own the Crashdown, and the Parkers live above the Cafe.

The Crashdown appears in many of the episodes, and lots of things important to the show happen there. The most important, of course, is in the pilot episode, when Liz is shot in the Crashdown and healed by Max.

The gang hangs out at the Cafe all the time.

	Liz - is working as a waitress at Crashdown Cafe from the begining of the 'Pilot'. In the episode 'The Balance' Maria mentions that Liz is the Manager. In the episode 'Skin & Bones' Liz takes a job as an assistant for Congresswoman Vanessa Whitaker, and quits the Crashdown. After Whitaker's death, Liz returns to her job at the Crashdown in the episode 'Wipeout'.
	Maria - is a waitress at the Cafe the whole series
	Michael - starts working at the Crashdown in the episode 'Crazy'
	Isabel - doesn't have a steady job, but fills in for Liz as a waitress at the Crashdown Cafe, when Liz's Grandmother is in the hospital, in the episode 'Leaving Normal'.
	Courtney - works at the Crashdown starting in the episodes 'Skin & Bones' through 'Wipeout'
	Jose - cook, in the episode 'Leaving Normal'
	Eddie - cook, in the episode 'To Serve & Protect'
	Agnes - waitress in the episode 'Leaving Normal'
	Stephanie - waitress mentioned in an early version of the script for 'Monsters'
	Karen - waitress mentioned in an early version of the script for 'Monsters'
	Patty - waitress mentioned in an early version of the script for 'Monsters'
	Employee 1 - waitress seen at Liz's schedule meeting in 'Monsters'
	Employee 2 - seen at Liz's schedule meeting in 'Monsters'. In an early version of the script, the names Patty, Stephanie and Karen are mentioned, so one of those might be her. Also seen in the 'Pilot'
